Tushar Kundu
Tushar Kundu is a Ph.D. candidate in the economics department at Columbia University. His research interests are in education, development, and labor economics. His work focuses on using field and online experiments to study questions related to identifying and developing human capital. Recent projects include a randomized trial examining parent-teacher alignment in skill development across Indian private schools, a large-scale study of human preferences and well-being, and research on AI bias in hiring decisions that compares algorithmic and human decision-making processes.
