Palaash Bhargava

Palaash Bhargava is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Economics at the University of Chicago. His research sits at the intersection of development and labor economics, with a particular focus on education and social networks. He studies how peer and family networks influence individual outcomes, including human capital formation, financial well-being, and behavioral traits. He earned his PhD in Economics from Columbia University and an MA in Economics from Delhi School of Economics. Prior to his doctoral studies, he also served as an Instructor of Economics at NYU Abu Dhabi.
